WEAR WHITE IN REMEMBERANCE OF 1936 FLINT SIT DOWN STRIKE

Wear White in Remembrance of the 1936 Flint Sit Down Strike!!

We wear the white shirt in remembrance of the 44 day sit-down strike at the GM plants in Flint, Michigan. 

White represents the white shirts traditionally worn by management.  By wearing white shirts we communicate that we should be afforded the same dignity and respect management demands.  

Please wear white to honor the sacrifice, courage and solidarity of those who fought together during the Flint sit-down strike and to show workers today are equals to their employers and should be treated as such.
