UAW Local 42 represents members at Volkswagen Chattanooga Plant. We made history in early 2026 by becoming the first foreign-owned auto plant to win a union contract. The historic contract guaranteed wage increases and bonuses, and protections against plant closure and job cuts, more time off, and reduced costs for healthcare.
