FROM OUR COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE CHAIRPERSON:

A Heartfelt Thank You from the Community Service Committee

The Community Service Committee has been working diligently behind the scenes to bridge the gap by providing essential food resources to our members and their immediate families. In times of need, it’s the strength of our community that shines the brightest.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed—whether through donations, time, or prayers. Your support has made a meaningful difference.

A special thank you to our Brothers and Sisters from the Ford Mebane plant for their generous donations and for spreading the word about our needs. We also extend our sincere thanks to Local 5285 out of Mount Holly for their food donations and continued support.

To our community members and churches, your compassion and willingness to step up have been truly inspiring. A heartfelt shout-out to Promise City Church in Salisbury, NC, for answering the call and helping wherever they could.

Even in the face of disaster and devastation, it brought joy to our hearts to witness the overwhelming support from all corners of the community. So many reached out simply to ask, “How can we help?”—and that spirit of unity is what keeps us going.

To My Community Service Team

You ladies absolutely rocked! You went above and beyond the call of duty, ensuring that every need was met with care, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Your tireless efforts, teamwork, and heart for service did not go unnoticed—and I am so proud and grateful to work alongside each of you.

Thank you for being the backbone of this mission and for showing what true community leadership looks like.

Financial Support Resource

During this time, we also recognize that everyone’s financial situation is not the same. To help ease the burden, our team has drafted a suggested letter that members can send to their creditors to request temporary assistance or payment extensions.

Please note: We are not financial advisors—this is simply a resource that has helped others in similar situations.

Kind Regards!
