The Veterans Committee of Local 3520 proudly sponsored Milas Wyatt, a Marine Corps veteran who served from 1971–1977, to participate in this year’s National Veterans Wheelchair Games held in Minneapolis, Minnesota this past July.
Milas, a Vietnam veteran, has been a dedicated participant in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games since 2013. His commitment and competitive spirit continue to inspire all of us.
This year, Milas brought home an impressive collection of medals:
- 🥇 3 Gold – Ping Pong, Javelin, Discus
- 🥈 2 Silver – Power Soccer, Shot Put
- 🥉 1 Bronze – Bowling
In true Milas fashion, he has already promised that next year there will be no bronze in bowling, as he plans to practice and improve his game.
The 2026 National Veterans Wheelchair Games will take place in Detroit, Michigan next July, and the Veterans Committee is honored to sponsor Milas once again as he represents both veterans and Local 3520 with pride.
