Local Appointment of Veterans' Committee Chairperson

Members of UAW Local 276 (Units 1, 2, AND 3) who are interested in applying for Chairperson of the Veterans’ Committee must do the following:

1.   You must be a member of Unit 1 (GM), Unit 2 (Caravan), or Unit 3 (HydroChem) in good standing with UAW Local 276.

2.   The first day to pick up an application at the Union Hall is at 6:00 AM, Monday, March 7, 2022.

3.   You must go to the Union Hall to get an application.  If you have submitted an application for a Standing Committee Chairperson previously, you will have to submit another form.

4.   You must turn in your application at the Union Hall only.

5.   The deadline for acceptance of applications is Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at the Union Hall.  Any applications not at the Union Hall by the deadline will not be submitted for consideration.

6.   The applications will be presented to the Executive Board of UAW Local 276 on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, for their recommendation to the membership.

7.   The Standing Committee position is:

VETERANS’ COMMITTEE – CHAIRPERSON
