We are in very difficult times, there are over 58,000 members of management in General Motors while there are 46,000 UAW members in General Motors. Management is conducting multiple rounds of separation from the company to try and correct this imbalance.

Recently, Labor Relations and Security were made aware of threatening comments made by a former member of management. It was immediately investigated, and the threat was found to be creditable. To keep all employees safe, security will be increased at the plant. There will be armed off-duty sheriff deputies at our plant for the foreseeable future.

Do not and I repeat, DO NOT let someone else enter into the plant with your badge or piggyback through the turnstile with you. Management is taking this very seriously and are monitoring the cameras at each gate.
