First, we would like to say, “THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE,” to all the men and women who have faithfully served our country. It is very important that these individuals get the respect that is due to them for their time served.  Due to recent international events and the loss of life of service men and women in Afghanistan, and after much deliberation between the parties, the holiday observance of Veterans Day will remain Thursday November 11, 2021. THE HOLIDAY WILL NOT BE MOVED TO WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 24, 2021. I REPEAT, THE HOLIDAY WILL NOT BE MOVED TO WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 24, 2021. If you have made travel arrangements for Wednesday November 24, 2021, please make sure that your absence is covered for those arrangements. 

We are putting this notice out to make sure all members have adequate time to make sure that they can be covered for their time off. We have also requested that management allow a greater percentage of our members the ability to use their vacation on this day as well as other measures to try and accommodate the individuals that may need Wednesday November 24, 2021, off.
