Important Dates, September 2025

  • August 30 Veterans Appreciation Comedy Show 6:30 PM - Food served, 7 AM-9PM - Comedy show, Sovereign Rock Event Center (5000 Western Center Blvd, Ste. 340, Haltom City, TX 76137) Please contact DeShaun Spencer (469-763-0193) 1st Shift Chassis 9L. Tickets are FREE for UAW Local 276 veterans and $20 for non-veteran members.
  • September 1 Unit 1 - No Production, Unit 2 - Holiday
  • September 2 Unit 1 Production schedule 9-8-8
  • September 7 POSTPONED, date TBD, standing committee member elections
  • September 7-12 Contract Enforcement Boot Camp in Black Lake (8 delegates)
  • September 8-18 The Engage & Drive event is visiting Arlington. There are 4,000 slots available and will be for third shift (Sept. 8-10), second shift (Sept. 11, 12, 15), and first shift (Sept. 16-18). This is an exclusive manufacturing event that celebrates the achievements and passion of the team while providing an op-portunity for employees to experience.
    • Event is in the parking lot outside Gate 6.
    • Employees can drive or ride in 1 of 16 vehicles—including several EVs as well as vehicles made at Arlington Assembly.
    • Please see the monitors for more details and ways to sign up to participate.

  • The WorkCare Team moved into the Medical Suite effective July 28, 2025.
    • Medical Cases:
      • Employees will see WorkCare in-clinic
    • Personal / Preventative Care:
      • Employees will come through the gym entrance (bathroom)
      • Waiting area for these treatments will remain in the gym area.
  • The School Supply Drive is going on now through September 8th. Donations will benefit David Daniels Elementary Academy of Science and Math in Grand Prairie and Webb Elementary School in Arlington. Please place donations in one of the seven donation bins scattered throughout the plant.
