IN THE EVENT OF A STRIKE

The Local Union Strike Committee will assign your strike activity.  Participation may be picket duty, kitchen duty, drivers, or other strike-related assignment.  You must be in good standing at the time of the strike to receive benefits.

  • A strike happens when workers collectively decide to withhold their labor, after authorization from the International.  In the UAW, strikes are governed by the UAW Constitution, including Articles 12, 16, and 50.
