What is V-CAP?

V-CAP is the UAW’s political action program, which includes the union’s PAC (Political Action Committee). The PAC fund is made up of voluntary contribu-tions from UAW members, both active and retired. The money is used to sup-port pro-worker political candidates who have earned the endorsement of the UAW Community Action Program (UAW CAP).

If you would like to join V-CAP, you can go to the Union Hall and fill out an authorization card. You can choose any amount you would like to contribute per month and it will automatically be deducted from your paycheck.
