It is my honor to give this bargaining update on the 2023 UAW/GM National Agreement.  We are making history as the popularity of Unionism has never been higher and we will ride that wave and negotiate an Agreement that will secure our future and will hopefully make us all proud.

STRIKE DUTY INSTRUCTIONS

IN THE EVENT OF A STRIKE

The Local Union Strike Committee will assign your strike activity.  Participation may be picket duty, kitchen duty, drivers, or other strike-related assignment.  You must be in good standing at the time of the strike to receive benefits.

Greetings:

This letter is to UAW Local 276 members in good standing, those that are delinquent and non-members.  UAW members pay dues every month to help support their Union.  0.29% or 0.5 hours of your dues dollars goes to the International Union Strike and Defense Fund.  You can refer to Article 16 of the UAW Constitution for more information about dues.  This is a contract year; the UAW-GM contract expires on September 14, 2023, at 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time).  We do not know if we will strike but if we do strike we want our members to be informed.
