A parking inconvenience and difficulty is expected near Gate 6 turnstiles beginning Saturday, March 26 after 2nd shift through Sunday, April 3. Your patience is appreciated.

General Motors has announced that effective 3-4-2022 at 8:00am that the Arlington Assembly Facility, will be relaxing the COVID Safety Protocols to align with the new guidance from the CDC.

What you need to know:

GM Short Work Week (SWW) Explanation

SWW Weather 7A

Unplanned downtime due to absenteeism driven by severe weather. Overtime offered to the employee during the week does not reduce the SWW pay calculation for eligible employees.

Due to inclement weather, New Hire Orientation for Thursday, February 24, 2022, is CANCELED.

General Motors is also cancelling 1st and 2nd shift production Day 4, February 24th. Maintenance work is voluntary. Maintenance, please contact your leader if you are not working. Please contact your leader for additional information or with any questions you may have.
